The Verdict
π‘ Salem Says:
Let's be honest: You come here because it is Cheap.
Amwaj Blue is located in the expensive "Abu Soma" area, but it offers rooms for β¬40 a night. The trade-off? The food is basic, the furniture is old, and the sea is very shallow (you need to walk 400m to swim). But the pools are nice and the staff try hard.

β The Good
- Price: Unbeatable for this location.
- Spa: Surprisingly good spa facilities (extra cost).
- Kitesurfing: Good spot for beginners (shallow water).
β The Bad
- The Walk: You see the sea? Good luck walking to it. It recedes far at low tide.
- Maintenance: Cracked tiles, old ACs. Needs love.
- Food: Very repetitive "Chicken & Rice".
πΆ The Long Pier
To swim in deep water, you have to walk to the end of the jetty. It is long. In summer, it's a hot walk. But at the end, the water is clear and there is some coral.
β Common Questions
Is it good for kids?
Yes, the pools are good and they have some small slides. The shallow beach is safe for toddlers to splash in.
Is alcohol included?
Yes, local beer and spirits. As usual with budget hotels, the quality is "fuel" grade. Stick to beer.
