The Verdict
π‘ Salem Says:
This hotel feels like a hidden family secret. It is not fancy. It is simple. But it solves the biggest problem in Marsa Alam: The Reef Wall.
Most hotels here have a sharp coral cliff right at the shore. Bliss Nada has a natural sandy bay where you can walk into the water. For older couples or kids who don't want to jump off a pier, this is gold.

β The Good
- Sandy Entry: Very rare in this region. Safe swimming.
- Compact: Everything is close. No long walks to the room.
- Price: Very affordable (approx β¬38/night).
β The Bad
- Dated: It feels like a 3-star hotel from twenty years ago.
- Food: It's basic. Very basic.
- Mosquitoes: Bring spray. The gardens are lush but bring bugs.
ποΈ The Rare Sand
The bay allows you to swim without shoes (mostly, but shoes are still recommended). There is some seagrass which usually means you might see turtles grazing in the shallow water.
β Common Questions
Are there sharks?
Marsa Alam has sharks offshore (Elphinstone), but in the shallow sandy bay of the hotel, it is extremely rare. You mostly see turtles and rays.
Does it have a heated pool?
One of the pools is usually heated in winter, but check with the hotel as policies change to save energy.
