The Verdict
π‘ Salem Says:
Marlin Inn is uniquely positioned. It is in the Tourist Promenade (Mamsha), which is usually home to giant 5-star resorts like Steigenberger and Hilton.
Marlin Inn is smaller, cheaper, and older. But it sits on the SAME stretch of amazing beach. It feels intimate. You don't need a map to find your room. If you want the "Premium Location" without the "Premium Price", this is a smart hack.

β The Good
- Sandy Beach: One of the best sandy entries in Hurghada. Perfect for bad swimmers.
- Location: Step out and you are on the nice promenade (Little Buddha, Hard Rock nearby).
- Size: Everything is close. Restaurant to beach is 2 minutes.
β The Bad
- Dated: It feels like the 90s inside. Dark wood, old tiles.
- Entertainment: The animation team tries hard, but the stage is small.
- Food: It's standard 4-star buffet. Edible, but not exciting.
ποΈ The Beach
This is the main selling point. The beach here is wide, golden, and shallow. There are no rocks. You can walk barefoot into the water for 50 meters.
Because the hotel is small, the beach war for sunbeds is less intense than at the mega-resorts next door.
π Location: The Mamsha
The "Mamsha" is the nice, paved promenade of Hurghada. It's safe, clean, and full of tourists walking at night. Marlin Inn is right in the center of it. You can walk to:
- Hard Rock Cafe: 10 mins walk.
- Little Buddha (Club): 5 mins walk.
- Carrefour Supermarket: 15 mins walk.
