The Quick Verdict
π‘ Salem Says:
Roma Hotel is a survivor. It has been here forever. It costs about β¬35 a night with All-Inclusive.
It is basic. The food is simple (chicken, rice, pasta). The rooms are old. But the staff are famously friendly, and you are literally in the middle of the action on Sheraton Road.

β The Good
- Location: Impossible to beat. Right in the center.
- Staff: Usually very helpful and kind.
- Price: Very affordable.
- Clean beds (mostly).
β The Bad
- Beach is not on site (you walk 2 mins across the road).
- Noisy (street noise is high).
- WiFi is non-existent.
- Pool is small and on the roof (can be windy).
π Location: The Heart of the Action
If you like quiet evenings reading a book, do not come here. If you like stepping out of your hotel and being surrounded by shops, shisha bars, McDonald's, and hustle, this is heaven.
You are on Sheraton Road. Taxis are everywhere. Gomla Market is nearby. It is lively.
ποΈ The Beach Situation
This is important: Roma Hotel is not directly on the beach.
They have a private beach plot, but it is across the street. You have to walk out of the hotel, cross Sheraton Road (an adventure in itself), and walk down a small path. It takes about 3-5 minutes. The beach itself is small but fine for sunbathing.
